New boutique publishing venture from Chris Wright aims to provide access, expertise, and long-term support in a changing music landscape.
Right Tracks Music was founded by Chris Wright and continues to be shaped by his long-standing commitment to developing emerging talent, supporting iconic writers, and navigating the realities of keeping creative people and their work protected, recognised, and earning.
Artists don’t always need a full on operation behind them. What they need is access: to expertise, to trusted people, and access to a network that understands how deals get done, how placements happen, and how rights are stewarded over time. Right Tracks exists to provide precisely that.
Right Tracks work as a boutique publishing partner that can scale resources up or down depending on what the writer or catalogue requires. Its core strength lies in relationships built over a lifetime, and it’s this network that allows Right Tracks to remain small, purposeful and agile, supporting artists in a way that feels human, hands-on, and genuinely and measurably effective.
Right Tracks’ role isn’t to own the artist’s journey, but to support it: administratively, creatively, and strategically. It takes care of rights, registrations, royalties, sync opportunities, and long-term catalogue planning so writers and estates have confidence that their work is protected, valued, and working for them. In 2025, Chris established Right Tracks Recordings to provide opportunities to emerging talent who, in the current musical landscape, are struggling to sign with a record company. He commented, “I understand how dramatically things have changed since I was last active some 15 years ago and although I recognise how it difficult it may be to achieve things as I did all those years ago, my team and I are committed to giving it our best shot.”
